We're an independent team based in Sydney, Australia. We built PilotPost because every LinkedIn tool we tried either sounded nothing like us, or wanted us to feed it ideas every week. We wanted the opposite: write once about who we are, then have the posts show up.
Why this product exists
Consistent LinkedIn presence makes a measurable difference to inbound. Everyone who posts regularly knows this. The problem is actually doing it — 6 to 8 hours a week of writing, editing, scheduling, and clicking publish. Most people we know gave up.
The AI tools that promised to help all made the same bet: scrape your website, learn your "voice" from your marketing copy, and generate posts. The problem is your website is not your voice. It's your copywriter's voice. The posts those tools produced read exactly like what prospects now recognise as AI slop — the em-dash overload, the three-item lists, the "at the end of the day" closers.
So we built the thing we wanted: a conversation that captures your actual opinions and phrasing, then a system that writes from that — not from your marketing copy. Twenty minutes of real talk, once. Then it posts for you.
What we deliberately won't do
- No engagement pods. We won't boost your posts with coordinated inauthentic activity. LinkedIn bans accounts for this and it hollows out your audience.
- No auto-comments on other people's posts. Spam comments are the single clearest sign of a shortcut tool. We don't do them.
- No follow-for-follow or auto-connect campaigns. Not from your account. Not under any plan.
- We never post from your account without a connected approval chain. Full autopilot is opt-in. Review mode is one click away. You can pause posting instantly.
- We don't train AI models on your content. Your posts, your interview answers, and your edits stay yours. The model is a general one from Anthropic; your data isn't used to improve it.
